Forums Launch

Since the creation of the website, we have always wanted to have a Photoshop Education forums to allow users to interact with other Photoshop beginner/intermediate users. Besides Photoshop questions, our most common email are requesting for us to launch a forums site.

Back in October of last year, we debated and even tested different forums. At that time, we decided to wait until we had our own domain. Our goal was to work on new tutorials, quizzes, Photoshop challenges, etc. and add a small amount of advertising (no popups). Once we had enough money to pay for our own domain (we are not here to make any money), we were going to launch our site on a new domain and have a forums within the site. As you can see, we have not launched any advertising, which means the domain is not going to be launched anytime soon.

We agree with the users, it is important to have a forums, so for the last 2 months we have been working on creating a forums for our site. We want to thank 2 specific users (mittin and C4D User) for not only testing the forums, but recommending layout changes, etc. Also, there were forum errors and those would have never been corrected without the knowledge from C4D User.

In the next few weeks, we will be adding a lot more new content, but remember the forums where created to help you interact with other Photoshop beginner/intermediate users. Once signed up, you will see that we have many sections to the forums (if you are not registered, you will only see 1 section). We wanted to allow you to ask questions and receive answers, not just from the staff of Photoshop Education, but also from other users. We wanted a friendly place that you could read or post mini tutorials, tips and tricks, general discussions, Photoshop challenges, and much, much more.

So how do you get involved with the forums? In the menu option (to the right of “All Tutorials”) of the website, you will find a link to the new forums. Left click on that link and you will be taken to the forums. Before you can see any of the sections, you will need to “Register” (button located in the menu). Once registered, you will have authority to view and post in all sections (you can only view the “News & Events” section).

So take a minute and register on the forums and feel free to post in the “Introduce Yourself” section. Listed below are a few areas of interest on the forums site.

  • Top 100 Totally Free Image Search List

  • Photoshop CS5 Information

  • 10 Ways To Save On Purchasing Photoshop

Remember our goal on the forums and website is to help beginner/intermediate Photoshop users of the world. All content (written tutorials, steaming videos, PDF files, image files, Photoshop challenges, pop quizzes, downloadable videos, quizzes, etc.) are free! We make no money from this site and we are only here to help you!

Support us by recommending our website to a friend or a colleague! Thank you for your support and have a wonderful day!
